OVERVIEW & HISTORY
This is who we are.
ELOS is a professional consulting firm with a deep background in environmental services, offering an interdisciplinary approach to program and project management. We are part of Aventia and backed by Bernhard Capital Partners.
Our familiarity with federal, state, and local agencies — combined with rich expertise in relevant scientific technologies — has resulted in streamlined services for our clients, allowing them to save immeasurable time and money while still achieving their goals.
ELOS maintains a competitive edge within the professional consulting market by offering a diverse range of services designed to satisfy the needs of our clients, whether they be private businesses, nonprofit organizations, or government entities. Our staff brings a wealth of experience to the table, having worked on thousands of projects over nearly 20 years.
This is not business as usual. It’s personal.
This is about preserving our way of life, and that of our friends, families, and neighbors.
Like most of our employees, ELOS was born and raised in Louisiana, founded in 2006 by two young Tangipahoa Parish natives who had grown up on the area’s rivers, lakes, and bayous. Men who were most happy when they were outside, who knew the difference between being on the land and being part of it.
It is that unwavering commitment that has guided and driven ELOS in our quest to provide comprehensive environmental services to every community in Louisiana and throughout the Gulf South.
Many see progress and environmental protection as competing priorities, where one must always be chosen over the other. At ELOS, we see things differently. We see a partnership, a balance between improving the quality of our lives and protecting the places we call home.
Our services make it possible for projects to move forward while also ensuring that they comply with all laws and regulations, that sensitive wetlands are not damaged or destroyed, that endangered species and habitats are protected, and that invaluable cultural resources are preserved for future generations.
This is where we live, where we play, and where we raise our families. We strive for a brighter future but remain committed to the lands we love.
