ELOS can provide on-site assessments of potential environmental hazards for waste management efforts associated with landfills, waste water treatment facilities, potable water facilities, and other facilities requiring environmental testing. ELOS personnel are experienced in reviewing regulatory legislation to assist clients in effectively managing facilities to ensure compliant status with required mandates. Most recently, ELOS personnel provided professional services during construction of upgrades and repairs to the liquid collection systems at a municipal Landfill in Avondale, LA. ELOS’s environmental professionals survey each site and surrounding areas and create detailed notes of observations, utilizing environmental expertise to accurately identify and assess potential environmental hazards and regulatory compliance issues. ELOS can provide on-site daily monitoring, conduct air/water sampling as necessary, along with a variety of other professional services. In recent years, ELOS has developed its lead and asbestos program to provide clients with environmental health and safety monitoring capabilities. Using state of the art sampling equipment and techniques, ELOS can provide its clients with the information they need to inform decision making, ensure safety of workers and occupants, and to meet regulatory requirements. ELOS has over 8 certified inspectors for lead and asbestos, with experience conducting inspections throughout the state of Louisiana. ELOS is currently responsible for several large inspection-based projects, including the federally funded Restore Louisiana Program, as well as lead, asbestos, and air quality inspections for the City of Kenner.
